I think Lisbon likes/loves Jane. I think anyone who disagrees has been watching a completely different show. It’s so obvious. And I think that Jane knows. And he’s really nice about it and I think he’s thought about her that way…like considered it, but before he lets himself go there he wants to take care of RJ. And his manner around her is therefore sweet and yet firmly platonic.

I don’t know what Jane thinks of her romantically, obviously, as no else does, but I think the “I love you,” was rather telling in that Lisbon is probably the most important person that Jane has in his life (okay, fine, we knew that already).

I guess what I’m trying to say is that I think Jane will only develop true romantic feelings for Lisbon if he catches Red John and feels an appropriate amount of closure. Otherwise and until then, I’m afraid that Lisbon is a bit unrequited. 

The scene in the cemetery a few episodes back when Jane is at Charlotte Anne Jane’s grave (three of my favorite first names, by the way), I think he had let himself go a bit as far as developing feelings for Lisbon, and it reminded him of his assumed duty to his dead family. 

Also, I know the guy in the red sweater is a popular suspect over on IMDB, but I think that Red John is likely someone who Jane has spoken with before. 

I’m suspicious of Agent Darcy. I also think VP is going to be either recruited by RJ or serve as some sort of antagonist for Jane’s detecting in the future. I believe that RJ is connected with Visualize somehow. 

Also, I love this show.
